Founder’s Journey

It all started with an inexorable passion for sarees—to search for them, find them, wear them, and walk with grace.

As days passed, my passion for sarees and salwars only grew strong. This led me to learn, research, and appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into the design and weaving of this unfettered elegance. The quest to understand the craft started in Jaipur and led me to many more places, where I experienced the richness of the cultures, and gained insights and knowledge of traditional weaving, which otherwise would’ve gone unattained.

It was an excitement to see how the craft is worshipped as a god by the weaving community. It was inspiring to see how the community passes its craft generation after generation.

For me, Mudhraa is not only an expression of our inner beauty and confidence but also
the weavers’ craftsmanship. It’s the expression of the tradition itself.

It’s a collective effort to bring authentic Indian fashion closer to Indians.
